- 2月1日起，商学院下列课程入学要求提高，均分要求78%-80%，其中 * 课程 需要有2门数学相关课程分数不低于78%：

上述录取要求的改变只针对在2018年2月1日起递交的相关硕士课程申请。在2018年2 月1日前已经成功递交的申请（包含收到我们大学的确认电邮或录取通知书），按照原有录取标准。建议已获得录取通知书的学生尽快接受录取通知书。
- Visa Pilot Scheme，申请18年1年硕士课程的学生（仅限于1年硕士课程的学生），将会获得6个月的额外留英时间。

To achieve this goal, I would like to remind you few recruitment updates in this email.
– Law School
All the international applicants will be requested to achieve IELTS 6.5 with 6 in writing and nothing less than 5.5. The academic requirement from Chinese applicants are 75% – 80% overall. See their courses here. https://www2.le.ac.uk/departments/law?uol_r=f06368aa
– The University of Leicester School of Business (ULSB)
Since 1st February, all the applicants for Sept. 2018 intake will be required to achieve to 2.1 UK degree for below postgraduate degree courses:

For China criteria, it is 78% – 80% overall. The course * will also require the applicants to achieve at least 78% in two maths-related modules.
Below postgraduate degree courses will remain mid 2.2 UK degree (=55% overall):

MSc Innovation Management in Organisations
MSc Entrepreneurship
For China criteria, it is 75% – 80% overall.
Most importantly this new criteria for ULSB will only apply to any new application arrived to us since 1st February. If your application was submitted before this date, the criteria remains as the same as it is stated on the offer letter. Please advise your students to accept the offer letter as soon as possible.

– Visa Pilot Scheme
Leicester is one of several UK universities taking part in a UKVI pilot scheme to make the Tier 4 visa application process smoother, simpler and faster. This scheme is only for students applying for a one-year Master’s degree. – University Achievement in Rankings
We has replaced the term ‘in the top 1% of the world’s universities’ with alternative worldwide rankings which you can share with the students, to demonstrate the consistently good standing of our University.

- 34th in the Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 (2018英国泰晤士英国大学排名位列第34位)
- 43rd in the Guardian University Guide 2018 (2018卫报英国大学指南位列第43位)
- Times Higher Education 2018 World University Rankings: Leicester is ranked 159th in the world out of 1000 institutions listed (2018泰晤士世界大学排名：莱斯特大学在所列出的1000所高等教育学府中位列第159位)
- CWUR 2017 World University Ranking: Leicester is placed 19th in the UK and 226th in the world. 27,770 degree-granting institutions of higher education worldwide were evaluated. 2017 CWUR (Centre for World University Rankings)世界大学中心排名：莱斯特大学位列英国大学第19位；世界排名226位。（全世界共27770所有学位授予资格的高等教育学府参与了测评）)
